What are smart projects? According to which criteria are they determined?

CITYkeys is a 24-month-long project and is part of the research programme HORIZON 2020 of the European Commission. It has a budget of around one Million Euro.

What is a “smart project”? Which topics should a smart project comprise? How can we assess and evaluate smart cities and smart projects? And above all: what could be an appropriate tool to record and visualise the necessary data? The HORIZON 2020 project “CITYkeys” addresses these questions.
