The iCaptial Award will be handed out in fall 2018 and thus the European Capital of Innovation 2018 will be announced. The submission from Vienna, in which Urban Innovation Vienna plays a key role, has now advanced to the final round. Vienna now has to compete with the cities of Aarhus, Antwerp, Athens, Bristol, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Leuven, Lisbon, Madrid, Toulouse and Umeå.
